Shopee Video AI-Generated Content Guidelines

As AI becomes increasingly common in content creation, it is important to ensure its use complies with Shopee Video Community Guidelines. If your video contains AI-generated content (AIGC), you must enable the "AI-generated Inform" toggle before publishing. Once enabled, an AI-generated label will be displayed on your video to provide transparency to viewers.
[NEW] Failure to disclose AI-generated content by enabling the AI-generated Inform toggle will result in 3 penalty points and removal of the video for violating Shopee Video's AIGC policy.
Core Principles for Using AIGC

Product must be shown truthfully
AI-generated visuals, demonstrations, or descriptions must accurately represent the actual product being sold, including its features, appearance, quality, and functionality. Content should not mislead users into expecting something different from the real item received.
Results must be realistic and achievable
Any product effects, performance claims, or “before-and-after” results shown in AI-generated content must reflect realistic and attainable outcomes under normal usage, and should not exaggerate the effectiveness of the product.
No fake emotional or crisis stories
AI-generated characters, scenes, or narratives must not be used to fabricate emotional situations, hardships, emergencies, or crisis-related stories to manipulate viewers or pressure users into making purchases.

Note:
Content that violates the Shopee Community Guidelines and/or AI-generated Content Guidelines will affect the overall Shopee Video user experience. If you commit a violation, the penalty will include:
Revoking of commissions
Revoking of rewards/bonuses
Content deletion
Shopee Video feature blocking
Shopee account blocking
Penalty points structure:
Penalty points will automatically expire and reset to zero on the first day of every quarter of the year: Penalty points are accumulated based on policy violations. All penalty points automatically expire and reset to zero on the first day of each calendar quarter (1 January, 1 April, 1 July, and 1 October).

High | ≥ 15 points | Creators will be permanently banned from posting videos, comments, and replies on Shopee Video, and will lose eligibility to earn Shopee commissions. |
