We have received reports of a new scam circulating on messaging platforms, such as WhatsApp, where perpetrators have been posing as the Shopee Team. The scam would invite individuals to participate in a marketing survey. Prospective victims were even offered monetary incentives for completing the survey.

When encountering such messages, please:
- Do not respond to these messages.
- Assure friends and family that these messages are not from Shopee.
- If you require immediate assistance, don't hesitate to engage in a live chat with us via the Shopee app (Mon-Sun, 8 AM - 10 PM) including Public Holidays.
- Proceed to report and block the unknown individuals using the “Report and Block” feature on WhatsApp.
Shopee will only contact our users via:
- Verified WhatsApp business account.
- Official Shopee social media pages.
- Shopee App notifications.
- Official email addresses that ends with shopee.com.
