General

1. Shopee Singapore Private Limited (“Shopee”) is conducting a program where Shopee users (“Users”) can receive Shopee Coins by performing specific activities on the Shopee Live and Shopee Video features during the Program Period (defined below) (“Program”) under the terms outlined in these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) on Shopee’s website and mobile applications (“Platform”). 

2. By participating in the Program, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, in addition to the Terms and Conditions for Shopee Games and/or Giveaway Events, Shopee Voucher Terms and Conditions and all applicable terms and conditions and/or Shopee policies (“Shopee Policies”), which are incorporated by reference.

Eligibility

3. Only individuals with registered and valid Shopee accounts are entitled to participate in the Campaign.

4. The Program is specifically available to Users residing in Singapore.

5. Shopee shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether an individual has qualified to participate in and/or is disqualified from the Program. For example, an individual may be disqualified from the Program if any fraudulent activities are detected (including the use of multiple Shopee accounts which is prohibited per the Shopee Terms of Service).

Program Mechanics

6. The Shopee Live and Video Rewards Program will be held from May 2025, until such date as determined by Shopee at Shopee’s sole discretion and notified to Users via the Platform (“Program Period”).

7. During the Program Period, Users can participate in the Program and receive Shopee Coins by engaging in activities listed on the Reward Page on the Shopee Platform. The amount of Shopee Coins that may be claimed by each User will depend on the type of activity and the value specified on the Reward Page. Shopee Coins for Users will accumulate daily. Shopee may offer prizes in forms other than Shopee Coins at Shopee’s absolute discretion. All Shopee Coins claimed from the Reward Page will be credited to your “Coins Reward’ page.

8. Once Shopee Coins are accumulated for the Users, specifically for Shopee Coins that can be claimed and credited into My Coins, Shopee Coins may be claimed by Users under the following conditions:
   
   (a)  The User’s Shopee Coins must reach the minimum redemption limit set by Shopee, which can be changed at any time by Shopee. If there is a change in the redemption limit, Shopee will notify Users through the Reward Page;
   (b)  Claiming of Shopee Coins can be made by the Users only once per day;
   (c)  Claiming of Shopee Coins can only be made by the Users during the Program Period.

9. Shopee Coins will be credited to the User’s My Coins within 36 hours after claiming. 

Miscellaneous 

10. Any Shopee Coins received is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or any items.

11. Users are not allowed to participate in the Program by engaging in activities that are not in accordance with the Terms and Conditions or with fraudulent intent, including but not limited to:

          (a) Participating in any activity through computer programs, including but not limited to bots, crawlers, spiders, reward software, or automated tools that violate the terms with the intent to deceive;

          (b)  Violating laws and regulations including but not limited to (i) engaging in activities using pirated software, (ii) using unauthorized, suspicious, or fraudulent phone numbers, virtual phone numbers, social media accounts, Facebook, or Google accounts to register and log in to the Shopee Platform;

        (c) Damaging or attempting to damage the process or operations of activities; 

        (d)  Using illegal tools such as simulators, plug-ins, extensions, or clone APP software to download, install, register, log in to the Shopee Platform, participate in activities, receive rewards, and withdraw;

       (e)  Using plug-ins, extensions, group control systems, or third-party tools to interfere with, destroy, or modify the application system, or negatively impact Shopee’s Platform;

      (f) Using multiple accounts or devices to maliciously obtain rewards. Information of the same or very similar Shopee account registration, the same withdrawal account linked to Shopee accounts, the same device/facility, or the same phone number will be identified as a single user who can only receive rewards once each time a task is completed;

     (g)  Any activity or action that violates Shopee's Policies.

11. In the event that Shopee suspects fraudulent activities, dishonesty, or actions that are not in accordance with the law, Shopee may limit and close the User's account and disqualify the User's participation in the Shopee Live and Video Rewards Program. Shopee reserves the right to stop awarding Shopee Coins, reject withdrawal requests, or take any necessary actions, including legal actions to seek the return of any Shopee Coins withdrawn by the User.

12. Any taxes (if applicable) arising from the claiming and crediting of Shopee Coins are the responsibility of the respective parties.

13. Shopee reserves the right to change, add, or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice to Users, or withdraw or discontinue the Program at any time without any notice or liability to any party.  You agree that you are responsible for accessing, reviewing and keeping yourself updated on all amendments. Your continued participation in the Program after any amendments shall be deemed as your confirmation and acceptance of such amendments and all the amendments shall be valid and applicable to you.

14. Shopee shall not be liable to fulfil any obligations under these Campaign Terms due to circumstances or events beyond Shopee’s control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemic or epidemic, governmental actions or restrictions, internet or telecommunications failures, cyberattacks, server outages, third-party platform disruptions, labour disputes or acts of war or terrorism. 

15. In the event of any inconsistency between these Program Terms and any marketing or Program materials, including relating to the Program, these Program Terms shall prevail. 

16. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Shopee will not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this Program, including but not limited to any losses; direct, indirect, incidental punitive and consequential damages; fines; regulatory actions; claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, right of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in false light.

17. Shopee reserves the right to make final decisions and resolve disputes regarding the Program. In this regard, Shopee may disqualify an individual from participating in the Program (as further outlined in Section 5 of the Terms and Conditions), to forfeit any Shopee Coins and/or to take any other action pursuant to the Shopee Policies, if Shopee determines (at its sole and absolute discretion) that an individual has engaged in any suspicious, fraudulent, illegal acts, abuse the Campaign or otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions and/or any of the Shopee Policies (including by opening more than one Shopee account).  

18. The Program and the Platforms are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and subject to the availability and functionality of Shopee’s services. Shopee does not make any representation, warranty and/or undertaking on the performance and capability of the Platforms; any software or hardware used to access and participate in the Program, including an individual’s access and use of the Platforms; and the reliability or quality of the underlying telecommunications network accessed and used by an individual during the Program Period to participate in the Program. 

19. If for any reason any aspect of the Program is not capable of running as planned, including by reasons of communications network failure, bugs, tampering, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of Shopee, Shopee may cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Program and nullify any results.
