[My Account] Editing Your Birthday and Gender

To ensure the accuracy and security of your account information, please note the following restrictions regarding birthday and gender edits in your account settings:

Birthday & Gender Edit Restrictions

  • You can only make one change to your birthday and/or gender.

  • After making the edit, you will see an “Updated Successfully” confirmation popup. No further changes can be made.

  • If your account has been verified through ShopeePay KYC or Singpass, you will not be allowed to make any changes.

    • KYC is a standard verification process used to confirm your identity, ensuring your information is accurate and protected against fraud.

If you require help updating your birthday or gender after your one-time edit, you may contact Shopee Customer Service.

In some cases, you may be asked to provide supporting documents to verify your identity before changes can be made.

As it may take a while for live agents to respond, you can also interact with our chatbot assistant, Sophie by sending keywords or phrases related to your issue. Sophie will suggest relevant articles to help you resolve your issue.
