Add On Installation Service for Doorstep Delivery (Sea Shipping) via BEST Express
Add On Installation Service allows you to schedule a technician to install or assemble your item upon delivery. This service is only available for products that need setup or assembly, such as furniture and large home appliances.
The Add On Installation Service is only available for selected sellers only. You may select the Add On Installation Service option at checkout.
How It Works:
Product Selection: When browsing on Shopee, look out for products that are eligible for the Add On Installation Service. The option will be shown on the product page and again at checkout.
Checkout: Add the eligible item to your cart and select the Add On Installation Service before placing your order.
Delivery & Installation Scheduling (Appointment):
Once the seller ships your order and it arrives at the SG warehouse, the installation provider will contact you twice to coordinate the delivery and installation.
The first contact will be made when the parcel is inbound to their warehouse to initiate scheduling.
The second contact will be on the agreed installation date to reconfirm if the installation can proceed as planned.
The appointment must be scheduled within 7 business days from the date the installation provider contacts you.
If you request to reschedule the installation after the technician has arrived on-site, and the delay is due to reasons attributable to you (e.g., no one is present or the site is not ready), an additional installation fee may apply.
Same-Day Installation: The technician will arrive either together with the delivery team or shortly after your item is delivered. Installation will be completed on the spot, no separate appointment needed.
⚠️ Note:
Be Present: Ensure you or a representative is available at the delivery address during the scheduled installation time.
Prepare the Area: Make sure the installation area is ready and accessible. If necessary, obtain prior approval from building management (e.g., for access or lift usage).
Inspect Upon Completion: After installation, inspect the work. If there are no objections, the service will be considered completed and accepted.
Workmanship Warranty: The installation service includes a 24 hours workmanship warranty that covers defects caused by improper installation. Requests for repairs, changes, or reinstallation after this period may require a new booking and subject to additional charges.
Exclusions: Installation does not include electrical rewiring, drilling through reinforced concrete, or major modifications unless explicitly stated.
Where can you track your installation status?
After completing your order checkout, go to your account and open Order Details for the relevant order.
Scroll down to the Add On Installation Service section, click into the section to view the Installation Service Details, including status updates.
Preferred Installation Date will be updated after the installation provider contacts you to schedule the installation date. |

After the installation provider schedules the installation date with you, the Preferred Installation Date will be updated accordingly. The technician’s contact number will also be displayed once it has been assigned. |

Additional Service Fee
If you require any services beyond the standard installation, you may coordinate directly with the installation provider for the options listed below.
Any additional fees must be paid to the installation provider at the time of service, either in cash or another agreed payment method, with receipt or payment confirmation provided upon request.
