[SPayLater] How do I link/unlink SPayLater as a payment method for ShopeePay Linked Services?

You can now use SPayLater as your preferred payment method to easily pay for purchases and subscriptions for ShopeePay-linked services.

 

Navigating to ShopeePay Linked Services

Follow these steps to access your linked services and manage your payment settings:

1. On your Shopee homepage, locate and tap on the ShopeePay Wallet icon.
2. From the ShopeePay homepage dashboard, tap on the Me icon on your bottom right.
3. Scroll down and tap on ShopeePay Linked Services.
4. Once inside, you can access options like Payment Sequence to manage your subscriptions and payment methods. 

 

 

 

How to Add SPayLater to your Payment Sequence
To enable SPayLater for your monthly subscriptions:

1. On the ShopeePay Linked Services menu, select Payment Sequence.
2. Under the "Add to sequence" section, look for SPayLater and tap Add.
3. A pop-up prompt will appear asking "Enable SPayLater?". Tap Confirm to authorize it for existing and future payment arrangements.
4. Once added, under the “Current sequence” section, click Edit to drag and reorder your sequence to set your default preference.
5. Tap Confirm to finalise the new payment sequence. 

 

 

 

How to Remove SPayLater from your Payment Sequence
If you no longer want your subscriptions charged to your SPayLater account:

1. Go back to your Payment Sequence page and tap Edit in the top right corner of your sequence list.
2. Click the "X" or remove icon next to SPayLater.
3. A confirmation pop-up window will ask "Remove SPayLater from the current sequence?".
4. Tap Confirm to finalise the removal.

Yes! You can link your SPayLater account to automatically handle payments for your ShopeePay Linked Services. This applies to various popular digital subscriptions and platforms, including: 

• Google Play Store
• Apple App Store
• PlayStation
• Canva
• Spotify

 

2. How do payments work once SPayLater is linked? 
When you add SPayLater to your Payment Sequence, it may be used as a payment method for your monthly recurring payments for ShopeePay-linked services. If a linked service charges your ShopeePay account, whether SPayLater is charged as the underlying payment method depends on your payment sequence that you have arranged. If SPayLater is charged as the payment method for such linked services, the transaction will automatically be converted into a 1x SPayLater tenure (1-month instalment) at 0% interest.
