[ShopeePay] How do I top up my ShopeePay balance?

You can top up your ShopeePay balance with the following payment methods:

 

To top up your ShopeePay balance, select ShopeePay Wallet on the homepage > Select Top Up > Input payment amount and select Payment to view payment methods > Select preferred payment option and Confirm > Select Pay Now to complete payment.

If you encounter problems with topping up your ShopeePay balance, it is likely that a payment issue has occurred. Contact us with the Transaction ID. You can find it by selecting the failed Top up transaction under Last Transactions > COPY.

 

 

 

Credit/debit card top-up fee:

 

From 18 November 2024, there will be a 2% administrative fee on all credit and debit card top up transactions made with American Express (Amex) cards. This applies to all top up and auto top up transactions.
For example, if your top up amount = $20:

Effective from 18 November 2024

Total payable amount

= Top up amount + 2%

= $20 + ($20 X 2%)

= $20 + $0.40

= $20.40

 

The charge will be reflected as Admin Fee on the top up page when you top up with your Amex card. The admin fee is non-refundable.

Auto top-up

 

Set up auto top-up to ensure that you’ll always have sufficient funds in your ShopeePay account.

 

To set up Auto top-up, Select ShopeePay balance on the Shopee App homepage > Select ShopeePay Settings ⚙ > Select Auto Top Up Settings > Set value for When Balance Falls Below > Set value for Top Up Amount > Select Payment > Select your preferred Top Up method > Select Confirm > Select SAVE.

 

 

 

 

⚠️ Note

  • Balance limits - ShopeePay lets you top up a balance of up to SGD 1,000 for unverified accounts, and up to SGD 5,000 for verified accounts.
  • Once your account is fully verified, your ShopeePay wallet will be upgraded to ShopeePay PLUS and enjoy a higher wallet balance limit up to SGD 5,000.
  • Your ShopeePay balance should reflect the top-up amount immediately after payment is verified. However, it is also normal for short delays. 
  • Funds topped up with PayNowlocal debit card, and eGIRO linked bank account are transferablewithdrawable and can be used for payments. 
  • Funds topped up with Credit Card and foreign Debit Card can be used for payments, but are non-transferable and non-withdrawable.
