If your device supports fingerprint or facial recognition, you can set these as your verification methods for ShopeePay. By doing so, you can process ShopeePay transactions more seamlessly without your ShopeePay PIN number. These are the biometric authentication methods supported on ShopeePay:

For Android devices:

• Fingerprint authentication

⚠️Note

Face Unlock is available for certain Android devices.

For iOS devices:

• Face ID

Android devices

• Enable Fingerprint Authentication by selecting ⚙ Setting icon on the ShopeePay page > Select PIN & Biometrics > Toggle on for Activate Biometrics > Enter ShopeePay PIN number

iOS devices

• Enable Face ID by selecting ⚙ Setting icon on the ShopeePay page >  Select PIN & Biometrics > Toggle on for Activate Face ID > Enter ShopeePay PIN number  

⚠️Note

• To disable, simply select the toggle again and Confirm.
• If you’re unable to use your fingerprint or face for ShopeePay verification temporarily, such as when you’re wearing gloves or a mask, you can still opt to enter your ShopeePay PIN number during payment.
