Seller Penalty Points is a new point-based system designed to help sellers achieve operational excellence by tracking their performance and highlighting key areas for improvement. The system will provide sellers with more transparency on the KPIs to meet and will help raise the overall seller standards on Shopee to provide buyers with a great shopping experience.
The Seller Penalty Points system applies to all sellers. Shopee uses the Seller Penalty Points system to reward good performing sellers (clean penalty record) with priority consideration into our exclusive Preferred Seller Program. Poor performing sellers are given an opportunity to improve before having certain selling privileges revoked.
Shopee will evaluate and update sellers on how well they have performed on the following key metrics in the previous week:
1 penalty point is received for each unmet target or for each of the above listing violations.
*From 7th May 2018, onwards, sellers with a high number of spam, prohibited and/or counterfeit listings will receive 2 penalty points
Penalty points are updated every Monday.
Sellers may check their penalty point status on Seller Centre > Shop Settings > Seller Penalty Points.
Do your best to fulfill all orders on time and observe good listing practices to maintain a clean sheet (0 penalty points)!
