[ShopeePay / SPayLater Merchant] What is the difference between a ShopeePay merchant and SPayLater Merchant?
ShopeePay
ShopeePay offline merchants are sellers who accept ShopeePay as a payment method at their offline store or online store not on the Shopee platform.
By using ShopeePay, your business can accept cash-free payments in a secure and organised manner. In addition, you will enjoy access to Shopee's extensive user base. Customers will get to know your brand via our App when they browse for ShopeePay merchants.

SPayLater
SPayLater is an exclusive payment option on Shopee, providing buyers the option to buy-now and pay-later. With SPayLater, buyers can make a purchase immediately and pay for it on a monthly basis.
Beginning August 2023, both existing and newly registered ShopeePay merchants may now be eligible to onboard SPayLater as a payment option.
Buyer Feature Details:
- 0% Processing Fees - At participating merchants, Buyers may select up to 3 months of installment plans at 0% fee rates and enjoy longer plans at reduced rates.
- $0 Down Payment - Buyers can check out within their allocated limit with no upfront payment.
- Flexible Repayment Plans - Buyers have the option to repay through 12-month installment plans, each offering a low minimum spend.
- 1-3 month tenures : $0.30
- 6 month tenure : $1.10
- 12 month tenure : $1.60
SPayLater User at ShopeePay Merchant with SPayLater
Seller Feature Details:
- Prime user engagement - Attract over 490,000 SPayLater buyers (and growing!) by offering flexible instalment options up to 12 months.
- Seller protection - Shopee bears all the credit risk. Sellers will receive full settlements as usual.
- Exclusive marketing support - ShopeePay Merchants with SPayLater can be selected in receiving additional visibilities, including microsite exposure.
