What is the difference between ShopeePay merchant and SPayLater merchant?
ShopeePay
ShopeePay in-store merchants are sellers who accept ShopeePay as a payment method at their i) physical offline store, or ii) online webstore/brand dot com.
By using ShopeePay, your business can accept cash-free payments conveniently and securely. Additionally, you’ll gain access to Shopee’s extensive user base, allowing customers to discover your brand through our app as they browse ShopeePay merchants.

SPayLater
SPayLater is a payment service provided by SeaMoney Singapore Private Limited, providing buyers the option to buy-now and pay-later on Shopee. With SPayLater, buyers can make a purchase immediately and pay for it on a monthly basis.
With existing and newly registered ShopeePay merchants eligible to onboard SPayLater, buyers may now experience the buy-now, pay-later service in-stores and at online platforms outside Shopee.
Buyer Feature Details:
- 0% Interest - At participating merchants, Buyers may select up to 3 months tenures at 0% interest and enjoy reduced interest for longer tenures of 6 and 12 months.
- $0 Down Payment - Buyers can check out within their allocated limit with no upfront payment.
- Flexible Repayment Plans - Buyers have the option to repay up to 12 month tenures with each offering a low minimum spend.
- 1-3 month tenures: $0.30
- 6-month tenure: $1.10
- 12-month tenure: $1.60
SPayLater User at ShopeePay Merchant with SPayLater
Merchant Feature Details:
- Prime user engagement - Attract over 2 million eligible SPayLater buyers by offering flexible instalment options up to 12 months.
- Risk protection - We bear all the credit risk. Merchants will receive full settlements as usual.
- Exclusive marketing support - ShopeePay Merchants with SPayLater can be selected to receive additional visibility, including microsite exposure.
