Q: I noticed that I can now start live streams, but my friend/family is unable to do so.

A: Shopee Affiliates or affiliates part of our Shopee Affiliate Program will now be able to create live streams on Shopee. Affiliates will be able to earn commissions on every direct order made through Shopee Live. You can learn more here. 

Q: I am selling products on Shopee. Will I be able to earn commissions on orders from Shopee Live from my own Shop? 

A: No, commissions on live orders will only be given to nonseller affiliates. If you are an affiliate who promotes both your own shop’s products and other brand’s products, we advise you to have different accounts to promote separately

Q: What can I do on Shopee Live?

A: Affiliates can promote Shopee products on Shopee Live, by adding products to the Livestream.

 To add products to Livestream, you can: 

1. Search for the item’s Shopee product link
2. Like the product
3. Start a stream
4. Add products to stream, and add products from ‘Like'

Q: I am an affiliate and I need help with starting my first stream!

Q: How do I access the Livestream feature?

A: You can access the Livestream feature from 'Me' > 'Livestream'.

Q: What are Livestream reminders?

A: Livestream reminders are push notifications that will be sent to your followers to remind them about your upcoming streams. It is a good tool to ensure your followers know about your streams, and will watch and support you during your shows.

Q: What is a Test Stream?

A: A test stream is a mockup of how your screen will look like when you go live. It is good to create a test stream prior to your actual stream to ensure everything looks good.

A:  It is fairly simple to add shopping vouchers into your shopping bag. Find out how to here.

Q: How do I ensure I am promoting items using my affiliate links during my streams?

A:  Rest assured that all items added to your livestream shopping bag are affiliate links. To add products into your shopping bag, go to the product you want to add, press the 'heart' like button. Then, when creating the stream, you can add all these products to your stream. Find out more here.
