1. How to find CommsXtra products?
For KOC & KOL users:
Open the Shopee Mobile App and tap the 'Share' button on a product.
A pop-up window will appear, displaying the commission rate and estimated earnings.
If no commission rate is shown, the product is not an AMS/CommsXTRA product.
For all users:
Go to the Affiliate Portal (https://s.shopee.sg/10mbL99SVi) and navigate to the Offers section.
Under Commissions XTRA, search for the shop name to check commission rates.
Only shops enrolled in CommsXTRA/AMS will be listed.
2. What is the difference between direct and indirect orders?
Direct orders occur when a customer clicks on your affiliate link for a specific product or shop and completes the purchase without navigating away. For example, if you share a link to a portable charger and the customer buys that exact charger through your link, it counts as a direct order.
Indirect orders, on the other hand, happen when a customer clicks your link but ends up purchasing a different product or from a different shop before checking out. For instance, if they click on your portable charger link but decide to buy a water bottle from another store instead, it will be considered an indirect order.
3. Why are my commission rates zero?
Affiliates can earn two types of commissions: Shopee Commissions and Brand Commissions. However, there are several reasons why your commission rate may appear as zero:
For all affiliates:
The buyer used vouchers to fully pay for the product, leaving no balance for commission calculation.
The order did not pass Shopee’s validation process and was flagged as fraudulent, leading to cancellation.
For ‘Affiliate’ tagged users:
Your orders are classified as indirect orders, which do not qualify for commissions. To maximise earnings, focus on driving direct orders by sharing specific product or shop links.
4. How do I move up to a higher tier like KOC or KOL?
To move from Affiliate to KOC, you need to shift the majority of your orders to be generated from Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or XiaoHongShu. Even if you have a mix of platforms, as long as most of your sales come from these four, your tier will be upgraded.
To move from KOC to KOL, you must have more than 2,000 followers on any of these platforms while continuing to drive orders primarily from them.
Do note that your tier is reviewed and refreshed monthly!
