Requesting a Refundable Sample


1. Click the “Refundable Sample” filter in Product Recommendations on the Affiliate Page


2. Click the product you want to promote, then click "Purchase" in the “Refundable Sample” section


3. Check your shipping details, then click "Place Order"



4. The Refundable Sample shipment will be processed, and you can view the details on the "My Samples” page




How to Get a Refund

Achieve the Posting Target: Create and Post Content

  1. After you receive your sample, create and post your content on social media, Shopee Video, or Shopee Live.

  2. Submit proof of your post in the Refundable Sample menu. For Shopee Video, proof of an affiliate post will be detected automatically when you tag the sample product in your video.


Achieve the Order Target

  1. Achieve the order target set by the seller within 60 days from the date of receipt of the sample. Affiliates can track the order target progress on the “Sample Request Details” Page.




Once the affiliate achieves the order target and the posting target within the 60-day period, the affiliate will receive a 100% refund of the Refundable Sample shipment to their original payment method. The refund processing time will depend on the payment method used.


Check the Refund

  1. Affiliates can view the refund details by clicking “View Details” on the "Sample Request Details” Page.


Terms and Conditions

  1. Affiliates can request a Refundable Sample by purchasing an item with the Refundable Sample label on the Affiliate Page.

  2. Each Refundable Sample item may have a different order target based on the target set by each seller. Affiliates are only eligible for a refund after posting content and achieving the order target within 60 days after receiving the sample.

  3. Orders considered eligible for the Order Target calculation must be valid orders based on Shopee data and verification systems within the 60-day period. Orders that are cancelled, refunded, indicated as invalid, or do not comply with Shopee rules will not be counted toward the order target.

  4. The refund will be processed automatically once the affiliate is verified to have fulfilled the order target set by the seller. The refund will be processed to the original payment method used.

  5. If the order target is not achieved within the 60-day period, the item will be considered ineligible for a refund, and the initial payment will not be refunded.

  6. Affiliates do not have a limit for Refundable Sample requests. However, for the same item, an affiliate can request a sample up to 5 times. This includes both Refundable Sample and Free Sample requests for that particular item, regardless of whether the refund is successfully processed.

  7. Shopee reserves the right to review, restrict, suspend, or cancel affiliate participation if any activity is found to violate policies or is indicated as misuse of the feature.
