NEW!! Creators can now seamlessly connect their Facebook and Instagram accounts to their Shopee affiliate account in a single unified consent flow. Cross-linking can be initiated by both new and existing eligible creators on Facebook or Instagram.
Eligibility Requirements for Joining the Facebook Affiliate Partnership:
Applicable to users aged 18 and above who have a Facebook Page or Facebook professional profile.
To access this feature, users must comply with the Monetization Eligibility Standards and Partner Monetization Policies.
The account must have no history of integrity violations.
How to Enable Pro Mode on Facebook
Pro Mode:
Click "Profile", then click the ... (three dots) icon in the top right to access "Profile settings".
Select "Turn on Pro Mode".
Complete your profile customization settings.
How the Facebook Affiliate Partnership Works
- Connect your Facebook Pages or professional profiles and Instagram accounts with Shopee and ensure you are registered in the Shopee Affiliate Program.
- Tag Shopee products in your content.
- Additional commission is calculated for each validated purchase made through your content.
How to Connect Your Account to the Shopee Affiliate Program
For new creators onboarding to Facebook affiliate partnerships:
- Enable Pro Mode on your Facebook account.
- On the Facebook app, click on "Menu"
- Go to your Professional dashboard > Monetisation > Affiliate Partnerships
- Look for "Affiliate programs" and tap "Get started" under “Shopee Affiliates”
- Select the Facebook pages and Instagram accounts listed in the “Connect to Shopee” page, and tap “Next”
- Create a new Shopee account or Log in to Existing Shopee account and register to become a Shopee affiliate.
- Tap “Register and Link” to Link your Shopee Account with Meta
- Tap 'Done' & you're all set!
For existing creators onboarding to Facebook affiliate partnerships:
Connect more accounts
- On the Facebook app, click on "Menu"
- Go to your Professional dashboard > Monetisation > Affiliate Partnerships
- Look for "Affiliate programs" and tap "Manage account" under “Shopee Affiliates”
- Tap “Connect more accounts”
- Select the Facebook pages and Instagram accounts listed in the “Connect to Shopee” page, and tap “Connect”
- Tap 'Done' & you're all set!

How to Create Reels/ Posts with Affiliate Products
Prepare the content you want to upload.
- Select the product you want to feature under "Affiliate partnerships".
Click "Create post" to confirm your selection.
Select "Add to new reel" or "Add to new post", depending on the type of content you're posting.
Finally, click "Share" to upload your content.
