[Buyer Basics] How do I get an order invoice or tax invoice for my orders?
Effective 22 August 2023, users can retrieve their Receipts / Invoices from the Order Details page.
What is the Order Receipt / Tax Invoice?
Shopee issues either an Order Receipt or a Tax Invoice to buyers. Please note that the order receipt is not a tax invoice and Shopee does not provide tax invoices on behalf of third-party sellers. Shopee can only issue tax invoices for Orders fulfilled by Shopee (Shipped / Fulfilled by Shopee (SBS/FBS) [i.e. Shopee Supermarket, S-Mart / other Shopee Retail Stores). If you require a tax invoice for your transactions, kindly contact the seller directly via our ‘chat seller’ feature.
Where can I find my Order Invoice?
The order invoice can be found on the order details page. An invoice can only be generated after the order has been marked as ‘completed’. This can be done by clicking the ‘order received’ button to change the order status from ‘delivered’ to ‘completed’.
⚠️ Note:
The order invoice PDF will remain accessible for 30 days starting from the moment the order is completed.
Effective 30th April 2024, buyers who had submitted a Return & Refund request will still be able to access their Order/Tax Invoices. Upon the completion of their Return & Refund requests, buyers will be receiving an Order Void/Credit Note.
When will I receive an Order Void/Credit Note?
If you have submitted a Return & refund request and it is approved, you will receive an Order Void/Credit note that displays the details of your refund.
For example, if you have placed an order worth $50 and your approved refund is $24, the Order Void will show the details of the refunded amount of $24.
My refund request is approved and completed. Will I still be able to access my Order/Tax Invoice?
Yes, absolutely. You will still be able to access your Order/Tax Invoice and view your Order Void/Cover Note as well.

How can I send the invoice to my email address?
Kindly ensure you have a registered and valid email bound with your Shopee account.
Within your account settings, navigate to the section related to notifications. This is the area where you can personalize the emails or notifications you receive.
Now that you’ve confirmed your email address and enabled notifications, simply click the ‘send’ button and the invoice will be automatically delivered to your email inbox.

Why do certain Shopee sellers offer tax invoices while some sellers don’t?
Tax invoices are generated for orders that are fulfilled by Shopee, which includes Shipped or Fulfilled by Shopee (SBS/FBS), such as Shopee Supermarket, S-Mart, and other Shopee Retail Stores.
Why am I able to download an order invoice from specific sellers?
Currently, this feature is accessible for selected sellers only and it will soon be extended to include a wider range of sellers.
