How to Participate in 1 Coin Big Giveaway

Winners will be notified within 7 working days after end of giveaway cycle via Push Notification

Vouchers received after redeeming the chance to participate in the giveaway will be credited to voucher wallet. Each voucher represents 1 chance in the giveaway to win the prize and has no value.

Promotional Event Terms & Conditions

1. The qualifying period for 1 Coin Big Giveaway ("Promotion") cycle shall be as stated in the Shopee platform ("Promotion Period").

2. The entity conducting this Promotion is Shopee Singapore Private Limited.

3. Only individuals with registered Shopee accounts are entitled to participate in the Promotion.

4. To qualify as a participant for the Promotion, each user has to:

a.  Make a redemption on the Coins Rewards Page of the Shopee platform (“Rewards Page”) using the stated amount of Shopee coin(s) on the Rewards Page;

b.  Meet the minimum age requirement of 18 years old; and

c.  Be a Singaporean, Singapore Permanent Resident or Non-Singaporean with a valid FIN.

5. Shopee shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether an individual has qualified to participate in the Promotion.

a.  For the avoidance of doubt (and as stated in the Shopee Terms of Service), individuals are prohibited from having multiple Shopee accounts and shall be disqualified from the Promotion if they are found to have used multiple Shopee accounts (whether directly, via an intermediary or otherwise).

b.  By way of example only, an individual will be deemed to have used multiple Shopee accounts if such accounts can be traced by Shopee to the same device.

c.  Any individual who has won a Shopee organised contest in the past 3 months (based on social media handle and Shopee username) will not be qualified to participate in the Promotion.

6. Qualified participants will be eligible for chances to win the relevant prizes in accordance with the rules stated on the Rewards Page (each a "Prize" and collectively, “Prizes”).

7. The winner of each Prize will be randomly selected from amongst the qualified participants for such Prize within 5 working days after the end of the Promotion Period. 

8. Each winner will only be able to win one (1) Prize under this Promotion. Shopee has the right to repick the winner if the same winner has been chosen twice.

9. All Prizes are subjected to the following conditions:

a.  Photographs are for illustrative purposes only. The actual product may differ in color and design, depending on the colour reproduction on your computer or mobile device.

b.  Shopee will not be liable for defects or warranty related issues.

c.  Models & Colorways can be subject to change due to stock issues. 

10. All winners will be notified through Shopee in-app push notification on his/her Shopee app via push notification, within 7 working days from the end of the Promotion Period.

a.  Winners have to respond to the prize announcement notification as a form of acknowledgment and provide confirmation on his/her personal particulars within 3 working days upon receiving the in-app push notification. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the Prize and Prize will be released to the next winner in line.

b.  All Prizes will be directly shipped from Shopee sellers to winners (only applicable where the Prize is a physical product. By providing acknowledgement and confirmation, winners agree to allow Shopee to share his/her personal particulars with Shopee sellers to facilitate the shipment of Prizes to him/her.

c.  Shopee shall not have any obligation to notify any other participant of the results of the Promotion.

11. By participating in the Promotion, the participants agree to the use by Shopee of the winners’ name, photo, voice, likeness and/or biographical information for promotional, advertising, marketing and other purposes without compensation.

12. By participating in this Promotion, the participants agree and acknowledge that all personal data submitted may be collected, processed, stored, disclosed or otherwise used by Shopee for the purposes of conducting and administering the Promotion and is subject to the Shopee Privacy Policy found in www.shopee.sg. 

13. Shopee reserves the right to deny the Prizes to any winner at any point in time. Shopee further reserves the right to replace at any time, any of the Prizes stated with another prize which, in Shopee's view, is of equivalent value.

14. Prizes won are not transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or any items. 

15. By participating in this Promotion, participants agree to be bound by the official rules and regulations and Shopee’s Terms of Service.

16. Strictly no Shopee employees are allowed to participate in this Promotion.

17. Shopee reserves the rights to ban or disqualify a user from participating in this Promotion, and/or to forfeit any Prize awarded to any user, if Shopee determines (at its sole and absolute discretion) that the user has engaged in any fraudulent or suspicious activities, including but not limited to the following: 

a.  any abuse of vouchers (including the use of multiple accounts to utilise the same voucher multiple times);

b.  any order brushing (including the creation of any fake orders, reviews, follows and likes);

c.  the use of multiple Shopee accounts;

d.  any linkages between the user’s account and any banned or frozen account;

e. (where participation in the Promotion involves any use of social media) the user’s social media account is determined by Shopee (at its sole and absolute discretion) to not be used for genuine social networking purposes, including but not limited to where such account appears to be:

i. used to disseminate or otherwise communicate false or misleading information;

ii. a bot or fake account; or

iii. used to impersonate other persons (including any public figures). 

18. Shopee will not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this contest or with the acceptance or possession of any Prize (including but not limited to claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, right of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in false light).

19. Shopee reserves the right to vary these terms and conditions ("Terms & Conditions") without notice, or withdraw or discontinue the Promotion at any time without any notice or liability to any party. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms & Conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail.

20. Any and all rights of interpretation and explanation of these Terms & Conditions are exclusively reserved by Shopee.

21. Shopee acknowledges and agrees that Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance and support services with respect to the Prizes.

22. Shopee acknowledges that Shopee, and not Apple, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have in relation to the ‘1 Coin Big Giveaway’.
