What is Electronics Protection?
Electronics Protection covers electronic devices/appliances from accidental and liquid damages.
In the event this happens to your eligible device, you may submit a claim to our service partner for professional repair or replacement services via authorised centers.

To do so, select Electronics Protection at the checkout page > Place Order.

Coverage of Electronics Protection
The Electronics Protection Service covers up to 100% of your product price for 12 months.
If you are purchasing multiple products that are all considered eligible for this service, you may choose to include Electronics Protection for each of them individually.
The price of the Electronics Protection Service varies depending on the purchase price of eligible electronic devices on the Shopee platform. You may view the price at the checkout page when an eligible electronic device is being purchased.
Electronics Protection applies to the following:
Damage from accidents and/or liquids
Covers damage to eligible electronic appliances due to sudden, unintentional, or unexpected events, including but not limited to, damage caused by collision, drop, compression, liquid, or fire.
Easy claims process
File for repairs simply through our partners' service channels and follow their instructions.
Professional repair services via authorised vendors
Provides fast and professional repair service for the gadget. In the event the gadget is beyond repair, you may choose to either get a replacement item or receive a cash disbursement matching its market value.
How do I make a claim under the Electronics Protection service?
You can make a claim under the Electronics Protection service for your electronic devices/appliances due to accidental or liquid damage.
Making a Claim
Go to the Partner’s portal > Log in your registered mobile number/email and key in the One-Time Password (OTP).
Select the policy and benefits you wish to claim > fill in personal detail information and submit > click ‘claim now’ > input the necessary details and provide a photo of the damaged device as proof > review and submit.
Once you have received a confirmation from Chubb, bring the damaged phone to one of the repair centers being suggested or send the damaged mobile phone to that address.
⚠️ Note
Claims must be submitted within 90 days after the incident causing the accidental and/or liquid damage.
If you choose to get your electronic device repaired at an Chubb service center, you will only need to pay the deductibles and excess amount (if any). If you choose other repair shops, you will be required to pay for repair costs first and file for reimbursement after. Upon completion of the repair, please submit repair information to the same service center and provide repair details (i.e., photos of the repaired item with proof of purchase and the repair receipt with amount) and your bank account details for reimbursement.
If the electronic appliance cannot be repaired or is beyond economical repair, you will get a replacement of the same appliance, a like-kind in the same condition or a refund.
You will be reimbursed within 7 working days from the date of claim approval.
