What is Gadget Protection?

 

Gadget Protection protects your mobile phone, tablet, or smartwatch from all accidental and liquid damages. This covers up to 100% of your gadget price, for 12 months.
 
In the event this happens to your eligible device, you may submit a claim to our service partner to avail of professional repair or replacement services via authorized centers.

 

Apply for Gadget Protection when purchasing a mobile phone, tablet, or smartwatch.

To do so, select Gadget Protection at the checkout page > Place Order.

 

 

Coverage of Gadget Protection

The service term is for twelve (12) months, covering up to 100% of the gadget price.

 

Gadget Protection applies to the following:

 

Damage from accidents and/or liquids
This policy covers accidental & liquid damages, encompassing incidents e.g. from mishandling (dropping), exposure to liquids, and weather-related events
 
Easy claims process
File for repairs simply through our partners' service channels and follow their instructions.

 

Professional repair services via authorised vendors 
Provides fast and professional repair service for the gadget. In the event the gadget is beyond repair, you may choose to either get a replacement item or receive a cash disbursement matching its market value.

 

How do I make a claim under the Gadget Protection service?

You can make a claim under the Gadget Protection service for your mobile phones, tablets, or smartwatches due to accidental or liquid damage.
 
Making a Claim 
Go to the Partner’s portal > Log in your registered mobile number/email and key in the One-Time Password (OTP).
 
Select the policy and benefits you wish to claim > input the necessary details and provide a photo of the damaged device, proof of purchase, and your identification card (ID) as proof > review and submit

 

Once you receive a confirmation from Chubb, bring the damaged phone to one of the repair centers being suggested or send the damaged mobile phone to that address.

 

⚠️ Note
Claims must be submitted within 30 days after the incident causing the accidental and/or liquid damage.
The extent of the claim will be assessed and you will be informed on how to get the item repaired (walk-in) or replaced. If walk-in repair is suggested, you may proceed to the authorized repair shop(s) or service center(s) nearest to your preferred location.
When sending the damaged mobile phone to the service center, you will be required to pay for repair costs first and then claim reimbursement for it. After completion of the repair, please submit repair information on the same site and provide repair details (i.e., photos of the repaired gadget with proof of purchase and repair receipt and input the repair amount) and bank account details to get reimbursed within 3 working days.
 If the gadget is irreparable or beyond economical repair, you will either get a replacement or a cash disbursement, as you wish.
