The following terms and conditions govern your participation in the “25 Feb Super Shiok Sale: Lowest Prices Guaranteed” Promotion (“Promotion”) provided by Shopee Singapore Private Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Shopee”) from 24th February 2025 at 8pm to 27th February 2025 at 11.59pm, both dates inclusive (“Promotion Period”) on Shopee’s websites and mobile applications (“Platforms”).
By participating in this Promotion, you agree unconditionally and irrevocably to be bound by, and shall be deemed to accept, these terms and conditions and any rules and regulations relating to the Promotion (“Terms and Conditions”), in addition to Shopee’s Terms of Service, Shopee’s Privacy Policy, Shopee’s Voucher Terms and Conditions and all applicable terms and conditions and/or Shopee policies (“Shopee Policies”), which are incorporated by reference into these Terms and Conditions. Capitalised terms used and not defined herein shall have the same meaning as given to such terms in the Shopee Policies.
Eligibility
Only individuals with registered and valid Shopee accounts are entitled to participate in the Promotion.
Shopee shall have sole and absolute discretion in determining whether an individual has qualified to participate in and/or is disqualified from the Promotion. For example, an individual may be disqualified from the Promotion if any fraudulent activities are detected (including the use of multiple Shopee accounts which is prohibited per the Shopee Terms of Service, or where the individual has influence over the listing of the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform).
Promotion Mechanics
Items subject to the Promotion will contain a “Lowest Price Guaranteed” label (“Labelled Item”).
Qualifying participants who purchase a Labelled Item within the Promotion Period (“Qualifying Item”) may be eligible to receive a percentage refund in the form of Shopee Coins (“Coin Refund”) if the participants are:
a. able to identify the same item available for sale at a lower price on a competitor e-commerce marketplace platform (such platform, an “Other Platform” and such item, an “Other Platform Item”); and
b. follow the claim procedures set out in these Terms and Conditions.
Qualifying participants may apply for a Coin Refund by submitting the claim form prescribed by Shopee (“Claim Form”) within 7 days from the date of purchase of the Qualifying Item (a “Claim”). Each Claim Form must be submitted together with the following documents and/or information:
a. Shopee username;
b. screenshot of the Qualifying Item available on the Platform with visible prices and the '”Lowest Price Guaranteed” label;
c.screenshot of the Other Platform Item available on the Other Platform with visible prices;
d. URLs of the relevant items on both the Platform and the Other Platform;
e. Order ID in respect of the purchased Qualifying Item on the Platform;
f. the price difference between the Qualifying Item on the Platform and the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform; and
g. such other documents and/or information as may be required from Shopee from time to time.
Qualifying participants are required to submit a separate Claim in respect of each order with a unique Order ID. Each Claim can only contain up to two (2) Qualifying Items per unique Order ID. Claims which do not comply with the foregoing (e.g. duplicate Claims for the same Order ID, or Claims which cover more than two (2) Qualifying Items) will be deemed invalid.
Shopee shall have the sole and absolute discretion in determining whether to approve any submitted Claim. Without prejudice to the foregoing, Shopee may reject a Claim in the following situations:
a. The Qualifying Item and the Other Platform Item are not identical in respect of the specifications listed below:
i. Variation – colour, size, model year, condition (brand new, pre-owned), year of expiry
ii. Warranty validation period (e.g. 1 year / 2 years)
iii. Brand name
iv. Seller type (Brand Official Store, Mall, Non-Mall, Direct from Platform)
v. Seller origin (Local, Overseas)
For the avoidance of doubt, where the relevant Qualifying Item is a product bundle, this requirement applies to all products within the bundle.
b. The Qualifying Item and the Other Platform Item must be authentic and part of a legitimate listing. Claims for any counterfeit items shall be deemed invalid.
c. The price references for the Qualifying Item and/or the Other Platform Item are not in Singapore Dollars (SGD).
d. Shopee determines that the price of the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform was not lower than the price of the Qualifying Item on the Platform at the time of purchase. In determining this, Shopee will refer to the regular promotion price only of the Qualifying Item and the Other Platform Item, excluding the effect of any vouchers, cashback coins, shipping charges, shipping discounts and additional discounts borne by the Other Platform.
e. The order for the Qualifying Item is cancelled or otherwise not completed.
In the event of a successful Claim, the qualifying participant shall receive a Coin Refund in the form of Shopee Coins equal in value to 120% of the price difference between the Qualifying Item on the Platform and the Other Platform Item on the Other Platform at the time of purchase, subject to a cap of 5,000 coins per successful Claim. For the avoidance of doubt, such cap shall apply for the entire Claim, and not for each Qualifying Item covered by such Claim. Each qualifying participant shall only be entitled to a maximum of three (3) successful Claims under the Promotion.
Shopee shall endeavor to process all Claims within 2-3 weeks from the date of submission, and shall notify participants of the outcome of the Claim via in-app Platform notifications. Coin Refunds for successful Claims will be credited within 5 working days of Claim status confirmation by Shopee. The provision of any Coin Refunds is subject to the completion of the relevant order for the Qualifying Item, and Shopee reserves the right to revoke any Coin Refund in the event that such order is cancelled or otherwise not completed.
Miscellaneous
Any Coin Refund received is not transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash or any items.
Shopee employees are strictly not allowed to participate in this Promotion.
By participating in the Promotion, you agree that:
a. you shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations when participating in the Promotion;
b. you shall comply with the Shopee Policies;
c. you shall not not participate in the Promotion in any manner which may adversely affect other individuals or the goodwill or reputation of Shopee; and
d. Shopee may use your personal data submitted (including your name, photo, voice, likeness and/or biographical information) for the purposes of conducting and administering the Promotion, and for promotional, advertising, marketing and other purposes without compensation, in accordance with the Shopee Privacy Policy.
The availability of the Promotion is subject to the availability and functionality of resources including but not limited to the capability of the Platforms. The Promotion and the Platforms are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Shopee does not make any representation, warranty and/or undertaking on the performance and capability of the Platforms; any software or hardware used to access and participate in the Promotion, including an individual’s access and use of the Platforms; and the reliability or quality of the underlying telecommunications network accessed and used by an individual during the Promotion Period to participate in the Promotion.
If for any reason any aspect of the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, including by reasons of computer virus, communications network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of Shopee, Shopee may cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Promotion and invalidate any effected activities.
Shopee reserves the rights to disqualify an individual from participating in the Promotion (as further outlined in Section 4 of the Terms and Conditions), to cancel an order of a Qualifying Item, to forfeit any Coin Refund and/or to take any other action pursuant to the Shopee Policies, if Shopee determines (at its sole and absolute discretion) that an individual has engaged in any suspicious, fraudulent, illegal acts, abuse the Promotion or otherwise breached these Terms and Conditions and/or any of the Shopee Policies (including by opening more than one Shopee account).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Shopee will not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this Promotion or with the acceptance of any Coin Refund, including but not limited to any losses; direct, indirect, incidental punitive and consequential damages; fines; regulatory actions; claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, right of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in false light.
Shopee reserves the right to vary these Terms and Conditions without notice, or withdraw or discontinue the Promotion at any time without any notice or liability to any party. In the event of any inconsistency between these Terms and Conditions and any marketing or promotional materials relating to the Promotion, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
Any and all rights of interpretation and explanation of these Terms and Conditions are exclusively reserved by Shopee. Shopee acknowledges that Shopee, and not any third party, is responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party may have in relation to the Promotion.
Any reference to a time of day is a reference to Singapore time unless otherwise stated.
