What is the scam about?

You may encounter deceitful sellers who may list products that you wish to buy but end up receiving a different product entirely after placing your order. These sellers may intentionally send a wrong item for monetary gain

Example:

The listing on Shopee shows a mobile phone but you end up getting a mobile phone case instead of the phone.

What should you do to stay safe?

Upon confirming the item you received is not what you ordered, kindly raise a Return/Refund request to get your money back AND report these sellers.

How to report such sellers?

(1) Via the shop page

Go to the seller’s shop page > More options icon > Report this user

(2) Via Chat

Select the Chat icon > Select the relevant chat > More options icon > Report this user
