Terms and Conditions for SG60 “Fly Our Flag” Campaign National Flag Redemption

Introduction 


  1. Shopee is proud to be the official e-commerce partner for the National Day Parade 2025 (“NDP”). 


  1. As part of the NDP 2025 outreach efforts, Shopee is supporting the “Fly Our Flag” Campaign (“Campaign”) where users are provided the opportunity to redeem a complimentary National Flag (“Redemption”). 


  1. To ensure a smooth Redemption experience, please review the terms and conditions below (“Terms”). 


  1. By participating in this Campaign and the Redemption, a user accepts and agrees: 


    1. to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Shopee policies.

    2. to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when participating in the Campaign and the Redemption, including but not limited to the National Symbols Act 2022.

    3. to consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal data submitted for the purposes of verifying eligibility, conducting and administering the Campaign and Redemption, and preventing abuse of the Campaign and Redemption, in accordance with the Shopee Privacy Policy.

    4. that any National Flag redeemed under this Campaign is not for sale or resale.


Eligibility


  1. Redemption is strictly limited to: (1) Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents; and (2) Individuals with a valid SingPass account, subject to verification. For the avoidance of doubt, users that do not meet these requirements will not qualify for the Redemption.

  2. Only one (1) Redemption is permitted per household (based on a user’s registered address in Singpass), regardless of the number of individuals residing at the address. 


Redemptions


  1. The Redemption is available to the first 400,000 eligible users. 

  2. Redemptions shall be made through the Shopee app (“Platform”), using a validated SingPass login for verification of eligibility.

  3. The redemption period will be from 1200h on 9 June 2025 to 1159h on 15 July 2025. 

  4. By participating in this Campaign, you confirm that any information provided is accurate and that the household address used has not been previously used to redeem a National Flag under this campaign. 


Appeals 


  1. Users that are deemed ineligible for the Redemption may submit only one (1) appeal per user. Appeals beyond this limit will not be considered. The channel for appeal will close at 1159h on 15 July 2025. 


Delivery


  1. Users may opt for self-collection (at no additional costs) or doorstep delivery (for a fee) to receive the National Flag. 

  2. Free Shipping Vouchers are not available for use for doorstep deliveries in this Campaign. 

  3. Users who wish to update their delivery address, change the delivery method (doorstep or self-collection), or reschedule their delivery date may refer here for more information.


Self-collection


  1. A 3 day collection window will apply from the date the parcel arrives at the designated collection point. 

  2. If the National Flag is not collected within this timeframe, the Redemption will not be considered complete. Such user will be eligible for another Redemption the next working day from the day the user’s Redemption is considered incomplete. For the avoidance of doubt, only one (1) additional Redemption will be allowed per user if the first Redemption is incomplete.

Doorstep delivery:


  1. For users who have indicated that the parcel can be left at the doorstep, the delivery will be considered complete once the parcel is left at the doorstep. 


  1. For users who have indicated that the parcel cannot be left at the doorstep, SPX Express (SPX) will make up to 3 delivery attempts, with each re-attempt taking place on the next working day. After 3 failed delivery attempts, the delivery and the Redemption will not be considered complete. Such user will be eligible for another Redemption the next working day from the day the user’s Redemption is considered incomplete. For the avoidance of doubt, only one (1) additional Redemption will be allowed per user if the first Redemption is incomplete.


Return requests


  1. Users that redeemed the National Flag are limited to one (1) return/ refund request per user for certain specified reasons (detailed below). More information about raising a return request on Shopee can be found here

  2. Users must submit a return/ refund request via the Shopee app within 15 days from the date of delivery or the estimated delivery date, whichever occurs first.

  3. If the return/ refund is approved, users may go on to re-redeem the National Flag (while stocks last).

  4. Return/ refund requests are only accepted for the following reasons: 

  1. The parcel was not delivered: User did not receive the parcel at all 

  2. Empty parcel received: User received the parcel but the parcel is either empty (i.e., empty box/packaging with no Flag inside) or contains low-value, filler items (e.g. stone)

  3. Damaged item: The item received has physical defects (e.g. scratches, dents, stains, broken into multiple pieces).Users that receive a damaged National Flag are advised to follow the National Guidelines for proper flag disposal here.

  4. The parcel is in-transit: The parcel has been picked up/dropped off but is pending doorstep delivery to the User. 


Miscellaneous


  1. Shopee reserves the right to reject or cancel any Redemption that:

    1. Breaches the one-redemption-per-household rule;

    2. Is found to be fraudulent or in breach of eligibility criteria;

    3. Uses automation tools, bots or unauthorised scripts to access the platform.

  1. Shopee reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Campaign and/or any Redemption at any time without prior notice, including the right to change delivery timelines. 

  2. Shopee reserves the right to verify user identity and eligibility at any point. Any fraudulent activity, misuse of the campaign, or violation of the Terms may result in cancellation of the Redemption and/or account sanctions. 

  3. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable laws, Shopee will not be liable for any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind whatsoever arising out of or in connection with this Campaign including but not limited to any losses; direct, indirect, incidental punitive and consequential damages; fines; regulatory actions; claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, right of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in false light.

  4. Shopee shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these Terms due to unforeseen circumstances or events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or governmental restrictions.

  5. The Campaign and the Platform are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis and subject to the availability and functionality of Shopee’s services. Shopee does not make any representation, warranty and/or undertaking on the performance and capability of the Platform; any software or hardware used to access and participate in the Campaign, including an individual’s access and use of the Platform; and the reliability or quality of the underlying telecommunications network accessed and used by an individual to participate in the Campaign. 

  6. If for any reason any aspect of the Campaign and Redemption is not capable of running as planned, due to reasons such as  communications network failure, bugs, tampering, fraud, technical failure or any cause beyond the control of Shopee, Shopee may cancel, terminate, modify and/or suspend the Campaign and Redemption. 

  7. In the event of inconsistency between these Terms and any marketing or Campaign materials, these Terms shall prevail. 

  8. These Terms are subject to change at the sole discretion of Shopee.
