Add On Installation Service for Bulky Delivery via STO Express
Add On Installation Service allows you to arrange for installation more seamlessly for your bulky purchases – such as furniture and large home appliances. This service is fully integrated, offering:
End-to-end logistics (delivery + installation) support
Real time tracking visibility
Fuss-free installation services fully handled by Shopee’s logistics partner
This add-on service is only available for selected items only. You may select this add-on service should you prefer to arrange your delivery + installation at check-out.
How It Works:
Adding the Installation Service
If the item is eligible for Installation service, you will be able to see the “Add on Installation Service” option on both the product page and check out page. Simply check the box if you require installation. The installation fee will be automatically displayed and added to the final checkout price, ensuring full transparency and a smooth purchasing experience.
After checking out, the delivery and installation team will contact you to arrange a date via WhatsApp. Installation will take place on the same day as delivery , and the appointment must be scheduled within 7 business days from the date the installation team contacts you.
⚠️ Note:
Be Present: Ensure you or a representative is available at the delivery address during the scheduled installation time.
Prepare the Area: Make sure the installation area is ready and accessible. If necessary, obtain prior approval from building management (e.g., for access or lift usage).
On-Site Rescheduling: If you request to reschedule after the installation team has arrived and the delay is due to reasons attributable to you (e.g., no one is present or the site is not ready), an additional installation fee may apply.
Inspect Upon Completion: After installation, inspect the work. If there are no objections, the service will be considered completed and accepted.
Workmanship Warranty: The installation service includes one-time free repair within 7 business days for issues caused by improper installation. Requests for repairs, changes, or reinstallation after this period may require a new booking and subject to additional charges.
Exclusions: Installation does not include electrical rewiring, drilling through reinforced concrete, plumbing, or major modifications unless explicitly stated.
What if I need to cancel the installation?
In the event you change your mind and no longer require installation services, you can cancel the installation at any time before the installation team has started on the installation.
Rest assured, cancelling the installation will not affect the delivery — your item will still be delivered to you.
How much do I have to pay for the Installation Service?
You can refer to the rate cards below. Currently, the installation service is only available for key categories in Electronics and Home & Living. Only items selected by the sellers would have the Installation Service Add On.

Additional Service Fee
If you require any services beyond the standard installation, you may coordinate directly with the installation provider for the options listed below.
Any additional fees must be paid to the installation provider at the time of service, either in cash or another agreed payment method, with receipt or payment confirmation provided upon request.

If the installation provider charges more than the rates stated in the order, please report the issue to Shopee Customer Service. Any verified overcharges will be refunded.
