[Scam Advisory] Delivery Impersonation Scams

There have been reports of individuals receiving text messages (SMS) and online messages from fraudsters impersonating logistics and delivery providers, including SPX Express, NinjaVan, and other third-party couriers.

 

These scammers claim that your parcel delivery address is inaccurate or incomplete and prompt you to click on a third-party link to update your details.

• Do not click on any hyperlinks in suspicious SMS or notifications claiming your address needs updating.
• Do not enter your personal information, financial details, or OTPs (One-Time Passwords) on non-official websites or third-party links.
• Do not reply to SMS messages sent from unknown personal numbers or unauthorised parties.

 

Protecting yourself from delivery impersonation scams

• Always verify parcel status directly under the My Purchases page in your Shopee app (Select Me > Select My Purchases) or via official courier tracking portals.
