[SPayLater] Why can't I check out with SPayLater?

There are 3 possible reasons why you've activated SPayLater but are unable to check out with SPayLater.

 

1. You may have missed a SPayLater payment
SPayLater accounts are temporarily suspended from overdue bills. To pay an overdue SPayLater bill and restore your account status, please go to the Me tab > select My SPayLater > Select Pay Now > select a payment method > select Confirm > and proceed with the payment process.

 

     

 

2. The checkout amount exceeds your Available Balance

Check that the total purchase value of your basket is within your Available Balance. If there are multiple items in your shopping cart, you can try checking out with
selected items separately, or you may also combine your SPayLater available balance with a second payment method to place your order. 

 

To begin, Select your preferred SPayLater tenor option > Tap Confirm > Select either ShopeePay, PayNow, or CreditCard/Debit Card > and Confirm to complete payment.

 

⚠️Note:

  • Your remaining SPayLater credit balance will offset the amount to pay first.
  • The remaining amount to pay will be processed as a down payment via ShopeePay, PayNow, or Credit Card/Debit Card.
    • Only one separate payment method can be selected.
    • After completing your payment, the seller will be notified to ship your order.
  • Refunds received for your combined payment transaction will offset your SPayLater amount before being refunded to your secondary payment method used.

3. The seller is not eligible to offer SPayLater

Most active sellers are eligible to offer SPayLater payment options. However, if SPayLater is unavailable as a payment method at the seller, kindly checkout with another available payment method
