[Scam Advisory] What is SingPost Scam?

There have been reports of individuals receiving calls, emails, and text messages from fraudsters impersonating SingPost. These scammers ask for personal information, such as full name and bank account details, and request monetary transfers for parcel release.

It is important to note that:

  1. Even if the email or text message you receive contains the SingPost name or logo, do not reply to it or click on any hyperlink in it.
  2. If SingPost is unable to deliver a parcel to you, you will receive a physical Non-Delivery Advice to collect the item from a Post Office or POPStation.

To assess the legitimacy of calls, emails and text messages:

  1. SingPost does not initiate automated voice calls.
  2. The primary language of SingPost communication is English.
  3. SingPost's official email addresses end with "@singpost.com".
  4. SingPost will not send emails from personal accounts such as Hotmail, Gmail, or other email domains.
  5. SingPost does not send text messages for prize claims and surveys.

If you suspect that you have received a scam call, email, or text message from SingPost, don't hesitate to engage in a live chat with us via the Shopee app (Mon-Sun, 8 AM - 10 PM) including Public Holidays.
