Promo Xtra Programme is a feature on Shopee where certain approved sellers (“Promo Xtra Programme Sellers”) will be able to enjoy the rights and privileges described in these Terms of Service (“Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service”) when selling items on Shopee from 21 June 2019 onwards. If you are a Promo Xtra Programme Seller, you will be deemed to have consented to the terms and conditions described in these Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service when you sign up to participate in the Promo Xtra Programme.
These Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service supplement the Shopee Terms of Service and the other Shopee Policies, of which these Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service forms a part – please read the Terms of Service and the other Shopee Policies available on the Site as they contain important information regarding your rights and obligations. Any terms that are used in these Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service that are not defined here will have the meanings given to such terms in the Terms of Service and/or the applicable Shopee Policy. All terms and conditions described in these Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service are subject to change at Shopee’s discretion pursuant to the Terms of Service.
1. If you are a Promo Xtra Programme Seller, you should have received a separate written notification from Shopee informing you of your successful enrollment in the Promo Xtra Programme .
2. Promo Xtra Programme Sellers shall receive marketing support from Shopee as agreed from time to time, including but not limited to Shopee-sponsored vouchers and inclusion in other Shopee online advertising and marketing materials.
3. Shopee charges a fee for all items that are successfully sold by Promo Xtra Programme Sellers on the Platform (“Promo Xtra Programme Service Fee”). The Promo Xtra Programme Service Fee is borne by the Promo Xtra Programme Seller, and is calculated according to the rates as notified to such Promo Xtra Programme Sellers from time to time on the Site or via other forms of written notifications. The Promo Xtra Programme Service Fee is subject to GST (“Promo Xtra Programme Tax Amount”), and the Promo Xtra ProgrammeSeller is responsible for such Tax Amount.
4. Following the successful completion of a transaction, Shopee shall deduct the Promo Xtra Programme Service Fee and the Promo Xtra Programme Tax Amount from the Buyer’s Purchase Monies, and remit the balance to the Promo Xtra Programme Seller in accordance with Section 12.2 of the Terms of Service. Shopee shall issue receipts or tax invoices for the Promo Xtra Programme Service Fee and Promo Xtra Programme Tax Amount paid by the Promo Xtra Programme Seller on request.
5. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promo Xtra Programme Service Fee and Promo Xtra Programme Tax Amount under this Promo Xtra Programme Terms of Service apply in addition to the Transaction Fee and Tax Amount under the Terms of Service.
