Shopee Cashback Special is a feature on Shopee where certain approved sellers (“Shopee Cashback Special Sellers”) will be able to enjoy the rights and privileges described in these Terms of Service (“Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service”) when selling items on Shopee from 21 June 2019 onwards. If you are a Shopee Cashback Special Seller, you will be deemed to have consented to the terms and conditions described in these Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service when you sign up to participate in the Shopee Cashback Special.

These Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service supplement the Terms of Service and the other Shopee Policies, of which these Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service forms a part – please read the Terms of Service and the other Shopee Policies available on the Site as they contain important information regarding your rights and obligations. Any terms that are used in these Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service that are not defined here will have the meanings given to such terms in the Terms of Service and/or the applicable Shopee Policy. All terms and conditions described in these Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service are subject to change at Shopee’s discretion pursuant to the Terms of Service.

1. If you are a Shopee Cashback Special Seller, you should have received a separate written notification from Shopee informing you of your selection to participate in the Shopee Cashback Special.

2. Shopee Cashback Special Sellers shall receive marketing support from Shopee as agreed from time to time, including but not limited to Shopee-sponsored vouchers and inclusion in other Shopee online advertising and marketing materials.  

3. Shopee charges a fee for all items that are successfully sold by Shopee Cashback Special Sellers on the Site (“Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee”). The Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee is borne by the Shopee Cashback Special Seller, and is calculated according to the rates as notified to such Shopee Cashback Special Sellers from time to time on the Site or via email. The Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee is subject to GST (“Shopee Cashback Special Tax Amount”), and the Shopee Cashback Special Seller is responsible for such Shopee Cashback Special Tax Amount. For the avoidance of doubt, the Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee and the Shopee Cashback Special Tax Amount shall be levied on orders placed from 21 June 2019 onwards.

4. Following the successful completion of a transaction, Shopee shall deduct the Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee and the Shopee Cashback Special Tax Amount from the Buyer’s Purchase Monies, and remit the balance to the Shopee Cashback Special Seller in accordance with Section 11.2 of the Terms of Service. Shopee shall issue receipts or tax invoices for the Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee and Shopee Cashback Special Tax Amount paid by the Shopee Cashback Special Seller on request.

5. For the avoidance of doubt, the Shopee Cashback Special Transaction Fee and Shopee Cashback Special Tax Amount under this Shopee Cashback Special Terms of Service applies in addition to the Transaction Fee and Tax Amount under the Terms of Service.
