[FAQ] About Shopee’s shipping and delivery services

1. How does Shopee calculate shipping fees?

 

Depending on the Shopee Supported Logistics partners, shipping fees will be calculated based on either only the parcel’s actual weight, or both actual weight and dimensions (whichever is higher).

 

SPX Express, J&T Express, uParcel - actual weight.

 

NinjaVan -  either actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.

*Volumetric weight calculation = Length (cm) + Width (cm) + Height (cm) should not exceed 300cm

 

Speedpost Economy - either actual or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.

*Volumetric weight calculation = [ Length (cm) x Width (cm) x Height (cm) ] / 5,000

 

2. Will products from different sellers in the same order be delivered by the same shipping method?

 

No, when you purchase from different sellers in the same order, the products will be delivered based on the shipping options offered by each seller.

 

For example, if you purchase Items A and B from Seller X and Item C from Seller Y in the same checkout:

  • Items A and B will be shipped by Seller X’s shipping method.
  • Item C will be shipped by Seller Y’s shipping method. 

 

⚠️ Note

Shipping fees will also be charged separately for products from different sellers.

 

3. Can I change my shipping option? 

You can change your shipping option only during checkout. After an order has been placed, you will no longer be able to change your shipping option. If you need to change your shipping option, you can cancel your order and place a new one.

 

4. How long does it take for a seller to ship out my order? 

For Non Pre-Order products, sellers are given 2 days* to prepare your order to be shipped out and for Pre-Order products, sellers are given 7-30 days* to ship out the order. Please chat with the seller for more accurate timeline.

 

*Calculation of Days To Ship excludes Saturdays, Sundays & public holidays. 

 

5. Where can I find shipping updates for my order?

To view shipping updates for your orders, go to the Me tab on Shopee App > Select To Ship or To Receive under My Purchases > Select shipment status of your order > View all shipping updates.

6. What if I am not satisfied with the delivery service?

If you’re not satisfied with the delivery service, you may leave a rating for Delivery Service when you rate your product(s) after confirming the receipt of your order.
