You can get a refund if you paid more than required, such as in these situations:
- Your ShopeePay balance was deducted more than once
- You filled in the wrong payment amount
- You make a second payment after the first one is shown as failed on the merchant's system
⚠️Note
Before requesting for a refund, you may want to try troubleshooting to resolve the above mentioned issues.
- If the ShopeePay merchant's system reflects Failure, restart your Shopee App to check if the transaction is updated in your transaction history.
- If you see an error message, update your Shopee App before checking on your transaction status.
Here are 2 ways you can get your refund if troubleshooting fails:
- Request for a cash refund from the ShopeePay merchant
- Request a refund to your ShopeePay from our customer support team along with the information below.
- All relevant Transaction IDs
- Evidence from the ShopeePay merchant indicating the actual amount required and the amount they have received
The refund will be credited to your Transferable balance immediately upon review.
⚠️Note
If the refund amount exceeds your ShopeePay balance limit, remaining funds will be deposited into your bank account.
